Beit Al Khair: Humanitarian Work Is a Message of Hope and Dignity for Every Person in Need

On the occasion of World Humanitarian Day, Beit Al Khair Society celebrates the outstanding efforts of the United Arab Emirates in serving humanity and supporting those in need, reaffirming the nation’s steadfast commitment to humanitarian values and social solidarity. The Society also renews its commitment to its noble mission of offering support and assistance to all those in need, driven by its deep belief that humanitarian work is both a national and moral duty.
On this occasion, Abdeen Taher Al Awadhi, Director General of the Society, stated:
“Beit Al Khair takes pride in implementing a wide range of humanitarian programs within the UAE through 27 specialized projects that serve various segments of society — from struggling families, orphans, and patients to students and people of determination. These projects aim to create a tangible and lasting impact on their lives.
From the beginning of 2025 until the end of July, the Society has spent AED 123,135,483, an increase of AED 27 million compared to the same period last year. This growth reflects the Society’s enhanced capacity to serve a larger number of beneficiaries and highlights the trust our donors and supporters place in our mission.
It also underscores the Society’s continued efforts to develop innovative initiatives that meet community needs and support those most in need.
Humanitarian work is not limited to material assistance — it is a message of hope and dignity for every person enduring difficult circumstances. It is a testament to the fact that community solidarity is the foundation of building a strong and cohesive society.”
