Beit Al Khair Society has announced a comprehensive upgrade of its digital systems and the integration of artificial intelligence technologies, marking a qualitative step aimed at enhancing the efficiency of humanitarian work, accelerating case assessment procedures, and facilitating donation processes through smart channels—keeping pace with digital transformation and strengthening the sustainability of charitable efforts.
In this context, Aydarus Ahmed, Head of the Information Technology Department at the Society, affirmed that digital transformation is no longer an option but a necessity for advancing charitable work. He highlighted the Society’s efforts to leverage artificial intelligence to simplify donation processes, enhance communication with donors, and support social researchers through accurate and flexible systems. These efforts are carried out under close supervision and continuous monitoring by the IT Department, which works to develop and update systems on an ongoing basis, ensuring their alignment with the Society’s objectives and humanitarian mission.
He explained that the upgraded system enables an automated preliminary assessment of humanitarian cases, relying on the analysis of family conditions and available data in accordance with the Society’s systems and criteria, to accurately and swiftly determine the level of need. Cases are then referred to social researchers to complete the final assessment and make the appropriate decision, thereby reducing time and effort while enhancing fairness in the distribution of assistance.
For his part, Ahmed Daraghmeh, Deputy Head of the Information Technology Department, revealed a range of innovative technological solutions that serve Beit Al Khair’s humanitarian mission, reflect its future-oriented vision, and ensure the sustainability of giving and its timely delivery to beneficiaries. He noted that the Society has expanded its donation channels by beginning the distribution of 200 smart donation boxes of various sizes in several shopping malls, specifically designed for cashier counters. These will be added to the 150 smart donation boxes distributed last year, enabling shoppers to donate easily and quickly, increasing donation volumes, and supporting the Society’s charitable projects.
He further noted that the development process included simplifying and upgrading donation procedures across smart channels to provide donors with a smooth and secure experience. In addition, the Society is working on implementing an interactive AI-powered initiative that allows donors to communicate automatically with the Society via WhatsApp, enabling responses to inquiries, introducing the Society’s humanitarian projects and programs, and enhancing continuous engagement with the community.
