Driven by its commitment to strengthening social solidarity and supporting family stability, Beit Al Khair Society has spent AED 17,322,483 since the beginning of the current year to support low-income Emirati families through its “Underprivileged Families” projects. These projects provide monthly cash and in-kind assistance, helping families meet the demands of daily life and live with dignity in a stable and secure environment. The support also extends to families of orphans and people of determination, and is delivered through precise mechanisms and comprehensive social studies that ensure assistance is directed to those who truly deserve it, based on their actual needs.
During this period, the support included AED 9,771,500 in monthly financial assistance to help supplement the income of families whose earnings fall below the acceptable level in the UAE. In addition, regular in-kind and food assistance valued at AED 610,000 was provided to the most vulnerable families, easing their living burdens and strengthening family cohesion. The Society also continued its support for Emirati orphans by sponsoring their basic, educational, and living needs, as well as supporting their families to ensure a stable life and healthy upbringing in an atmosphere of reassurance and comprehensive care. Spending in this area amounted to AED 6,484,983.
As part of the inclusiveness of its social programs, Beit Al Khair has given special attention to families of people of determination since the beginning of the year. The Society worked to meet their various needs, enhance their self-confidence, and provide opportunities that enable them to participate effectively in society and build a more independent future. Support provided to this group totaled AED 456,000. The continuity of these projects reflects Beit Al Khair’s firm humanitarian commitment to supporting the most vulnerable segments of society, underscoring the pivotal role played by benefactors and donors whose continued generosity has sustained these efforts and reinforced the values of giving and social solidarity within the community.
